Yes, Magellan Pharmaceutical Development performs all work in accordance with cGMPs. We are very proud of this fact and provide training for our employees on a routine basis.

Magellan facility in Somerset, NJ has approximately 265,000 square feet.
Magellan facility in Research Triangle Park, NC has over 125,000 square feet.
Magellan facility in San Diego, CA has approximately 37,000 square feet.
Magellan facility in Albuquerque, NM has approximately 15,000 square feet.

Have you been inspected by the FDA?
Our most recent inspection occurred on July 23-27, 2001 at our Research Triangle Park facility in North Carolina and previously on October 5 & 6, 2000 at our facility in San Diego, California.

Can you handle controlled substances?
Yes, our Magellan facility in Research Triangle Park is registered with the DEA (RM0165680, RM0214053 and RM0257281) and is approved to handle Schedules I through V. Magellan - San Diego is registered with the DEA (RM0262674). Please remember that controlled substances in Schedule I or II cannot be submitted to the laboratory without a DEA form 222.

Do you have specific requirements for submission of samples?
Before submitting samples to Magellan Pharmaceutical Development, we ask that you complete our Confidentiality Disclosure Agreement and fill out a Sample Submision Form.

Do you have stability chambers on site?
Yes, our facility in Research Triangle Park, NC has 37 chambers, including 16 walk-in chambers, totaling 11,000 square feet.

Magellan's facility in San Diego, CA has 17 chambers, including 4 walk-in chambers, totaling 7,000 square feet.

Can I visit and audit your facility?
Magellan Pharmaceutical Development encourages our clients to visit/audit our facility. We are proud of our facility and staff and feel that an on-site visit is an important tool when choosing a contract laboratory. A visit allows you the opportunity to tour the laboratory areas, meet with QA to review our SOPs and QA program, and meet with technical staff to discuss specific projects if necessary.
