Robert N. Woodhouse, Ph.D. Prior to his employment with Magellan, he served as Director, Worldwide Inhalation Pharmaceutical Development for Glaxo Wellcome Research & Development-a company with which he enjoyed a 15-year affiliation. His experience also includes top-tier management positions with G.D. Searle & Company, Ltd. (now part of Monsanto), and Huntingdon Research Center (now Huntingdon Life Sciences). During his career Dr. Woodhouse was instrumental in the launch of many prescription drugs in both the U.S. and Europe, including Zantac®, Imitrex®, Zofran®, Flovent® (metered dose inhaler) and Serevent® (CFC metered dose inhaler and Diskus). He was also involved in the FDA approvals of Advair® Diskus and Flovent® Diskus, which will be launched this year. During the course of his career, Dr. Woodhouse has had numerous articles printed in industry publications and given presentations on the topics of Organic Chemistry, Drug Metabolism, Analytical Chemistry, and Inhaled Pharmaceutical Development.
