W. Lowry Caudill, Ph.D.
President - Pharmaceutical Development

Dr. Caudill received his Doctorate in Analytical Chemistry from Indiana University under the direction of professor R. Mark Wightman and a Bachelors of Science Degree in Chemistry from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Currently, Dr. Caudill is a co-founder and the President of Pharmaceutical Development at Magellan Laboratories Incorporated, a full-service GMP/GLP pharmaceutical contract laboratory based in Research Triangle Park., North Carolina.

Prior to Magellan Laboratories, Dr. Caudill worked for Glaxo Research Institute where he was involved in the development of the Analytical Chemistry department. His responsibilities included development and validation of analytical methods, elucidation of product chemistry, and evaluation of product stability for tablets, injectables, syrups, ointments, creams, oral suspensions, and solutions.

Amazing free iphone Before joining Glaxo Inc., Dr. Caudill worked for Baxter Travenol Laboratories where he was responsible for the formulation, development and stability evaluation of frozen premixed parenteral products.

Dr. Caudill is an active member of the American Chemical Society (ACS), the American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS) and is an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Caudill has over 15 years experience in analytical research and is the author of numerous articles and presentations.
